Okay, so previously I've posted about the lights in the heated seat buttons. I always thought the buttons themselves just do not light up, only in the indicators above the buttons. Apparently I was wrong about that. Last night I was driving and saw something I've never seen before: the word "IMAGE" illuminated in red. I'm not sure why, but for some reason I thought that none of the HUD Controls were illuminated. Still though, it is only the IMAGE button that comes on. The question is: Does the entire panel light-up for the HUD Controls? Anyone know why mine act so odd?

All the words on the HUD panel should light up including the Image on the swithc

on/off, and the heated seat logo should light up

All mine light up. I'm sure someone here knows the lamp configuration behind the panel. My guess is there are probably 2 lamps; one for each half of the display. I can't imagine each button having its own lamp. Not the General'* way!

Well, I did a little experiment tonight. I "gently" tapped on the panel to see what would happen...and something did. The IMAGE light went out, again. Then when I was driving it came back on. Its soo odd! I guess I need to relamp the whole panel? ...anyone ever do that before?

Could someone please move to EVERYTHING ELECTRICAL? Thanks.
