Good luck at the wrecker, and consider wrapping the harness in hi-temp tape or good wire loom. (Available at Napa of course )

Keep us posted. I'll be on and off all day.

Off-topic, our #15 is running in the top 5 at Dover right now!
i am watchin that 2 and i have the wire loom from napa of course but the intake overheating caused it to melt

If the connectors are fine I would splice out the individual wires (16 gauge) seal the splices with tape and wrap in loom when your done. I would think you could get lucky at the junk yard but in the same amount of time searching you could repair the harness?

If it is only sections that are melted and the connectors have enough good wire on them to splice safely then I would splice/solder the wires and use heat shrink for sure, and then make sure it stays away from hot surfaces, hehe.

BUT if you can get the harness from a wrecker then go for that. I can only imagine what a dealer would charge you for that.

I think the splicing and wrapping idea is best. Save your money for beer.
