You can use your multimeter to test the relay, rather then spend a couple bucks, although having a spare relay on hand is never a bad thing.

If you want to test it, Dan has an old writeup on testing the relays, but it is not in the tech section, so I cannot link you to it, let me see if I can find something to show you how to test the relay, it is pretty simple.

A relay either doesn't work, or sticks. Really can't test for a stick.

Realizing that I don't really use the radio except the cd and changer, I just pulled the wires to the relay. Problem solved. LOL.
