Buzz from ignition coils?

Default Buzz from ignition coils?
When my 1990 Bonneville is in the on position, but not started, the ignition coils emit a buzzing noise at a very low volume, is this normal? If not, what could cause this problem?

I'm not familiar with the Magnavox ignition you have on the car, but I'd bet it'* the ICM, not the coils.

Consider upgrading to a Delco Ignition. It'* pretty much a bolt-on.
