I still say you get what you pay for
advance now sells Palladuim alts, as well as the AC delco.... Boosty has a Palladium 140amp on his car that says AC delco reman on the sticker

I still would trust the AC before the Palladuim

Same goes here where I live. Currently, Autozone in Deltona has some guys with good knowledge and the Advance is out. Buit in DeLand, where I work, the Advance is better.

I still have to be careful which person I talk to though. Last Friday I went to buy brake parts for my truck and the counter guy told me the hardware for the inner disc pads was special order. I thought that was odd and thought I would try to re-use the existing. Turns out the last guy to work on the brakes before I got the truck left out the spring clips (which was a reason they wore poorly), so I called to order the clips and the guy on the phone said, "Oh, yeah we have them in stock." WTF?

Short story...he said you can't trust "that guy...he doesn't know what he'* talking about." Good to know.
