92 bonny 3.8 weird

92 bonny 3.8 weird
have a 92 bonny 3.8 the weird thing is it run like crap when cold the speedo don't work and the transmission acts like it slips but if you drive it about 15 mile the warning buzzer will ding twice and every thing is all right speedo work and everthing have cleaned the hot post and ground looked at driver side of buss bar and is clean going to check passenger side this evening i am ready to pull my hair out don't make sence when it'* cold any help welcome thanks

My car does the same thing,from what I have read here while searching around I suspect the seals are going out in the tranny.If you warm your car up for a few minutes and put the car in gear,let it sit in each setting for at least 15 seconds.This will bulid the pressure on the seals.This works on mine for now.I am overdue for a rebuild and suspect you are too.

If the speedo is the only gage to not function you could possibly have a bad VSS( Vehicle Speed Sensor )..... The PCM has to know if the car is in motion, if it doesn't know you may be starting out in second gear...
Next time this happens manually shift the car into first gear and see if its any better
