ok last night i was in the country driving home from a uncle'* house when i go to turn on the high beams, it seems like the signal lever is hesitant. so i pull a little bit harder and they come on but i heard a snap. so when i get back to the city i try and turn them off and the lever is extremly flimsy when i pull it back and they wouldnt go off. finally they did and now this is what the left side of my steering column looks like:



does anybody know how i can fix this or what happened? or if its possible maybe show the switch the the signal lever hits to turn on the high and low beams and i can hit it myself.
