All states have a maximum number of "projecting" lights you can have on at one time. I doubt 4 crosses the limit anywhere, but throw in the fogs, and you're probably pushing it.

I haven't checked MN (I never get to use my high beams anyway), and I can't remember if it was 4 or 6 in TX

my brother Jeep Grand Charokee 2002 when he turns on his high beems his lows stay on, and thats STOCK....

One thing to consider is if this would trigger a problem with the Lamp Monitor for those of us that have that lovely (ding ding ding "Oh cripes..what now?") feature.

Also, I think Randy helped someone on the forum do this very same thing recently. They did have to deal with the lamp monitor.

the way i did it my driveing lights turn off when i turn my high beems on, but i like that cuz the high beems take the place of the long range of the driveing lights and the low beems take the place of the short range of the driveing lights.

man its so nice have low and high beems on.....
