I want to paint the trim around the Sun roof glass. The paint chipped off of most of it. Does the trim separate easily from the glass? Also, does the glass come out of the car easily?

P.* - The rust bubbles were taken care of already.

No, it doesn't seperate. It comes with the glass.

I repainted mine about 5 years ago by masking off the glass (after removing the sunroof glass, then the seal from it in order to replace it).

Get a new seal, remove the glass, remove the seal, paint, and reinstall the new seal. Instructions are in Techinfo.
