Default Ripped bumper, advice please!

Hi there,
I recently got my hands on a "New to me" rear bumper. It is the same colour as my car, so that was a bonus.
It'* in much better shape than the one I have, however on the LHS, there is a small rip at the top, and is about an inch long.

I'm sure I should reinforce it from the back, then spot puddy the outer side to touch it up, but I'm not sure what to use to re-inforce it??

Fibreglass??

Any advice is appreciated!

Adam
