Default Paint question.....

hey guys! i gotta repaint my rareley used front plate cover(left it in the trunk and it got scraped up ) and i have a fat scratch(keyed possibly) in one of my rear doors. I thought that the color was called Ivory white, but i was looking at the Duplicolor book, and they didnt have that. There was a few different whites. I remember Olympic white, Linen white in the 2002 section. does anybody know what it would be called? or know of a site that would tell me?
thankya,

Make sure you match the paint color NUMBER from your RPO label to that list. Give them both the number and the name of the color.

If it says GREEN, it'* fast. If it says WHITE, you're cursed.

Keep in mind there may be multiple shades of white for your year. Early 92'* through 93 and maybe 94, there were THREE shades of white available.

Curious- when you say there are multiple shades of white for a given year, does that mean RPO code 8554 WHITE could be one of 3 or 4 different shades? Or are you referring to the fact that there are a few diffent white RPO codes?

it means that there are different shades of white that have different WA numbers....WA 8554 is the number that tells the body shop what color your car should have to be consistent

You might want to go to a dealer for a basic color like white. I noticed when I picked up a bottle of Duplicolor, that they use the same black for several different codes of black. I'm guessing they probably do the same with white. Probably not a big deal, but some might notice a difference. Hopefully my black looks OK.
