one week and $0.80 later . . . [2 pics, 56k not bad]
so, the 80 cents is for a package of nuts. whoops on the third brake light.

heres the most noticeable error i made and couldnt fix:

so this weekend: one of the sides. this is a much longer process than it should be, i know. the new dremel works wonders, but i only have about 10-20 mins a night with the work im doing at my grandmothers house [recarpetting, repainting, new baseboards, new fence, a lot of cleaning, landscaping, blah, blah, blah)
i like it so far.

clear them lights!!!
Correct me if I am wrong, but, last I knew, modding the factory lighting system on vehicles was againsts DOT laws. Hence, the reason they are amber in the first place
Who cares... We dont like the bone stock look[/b]
Ok, since you requested it.
You can add, change, or modify lighting equipment on your vehicle, as long as it still conforms to DOT standards. Amber turn signal lenses are NOT mandatory, as long as the item producing the light, produces amber light. There is a DOT spec for amber bulbs, like 1157NA, 3157NA, etc. So, a turn signal, front or rear, can have a clear lens, and an amber bulb producing the light, and it'* legal.
Currently there'* no spec for a Red bulb for tail/brake lights, so a red lens must be used. There'* an Infiniti SUV that has clear reflectors and outer lenses for its tail lights, but inside, there'* a red lens around the LED'* that produce the light. Very strange, but I suppose it'* legal, since it'* OEM
