When I was at the body shop yesterday getting an estimate on the front bumper (got hit in a commuter parking lot) I noticed my hood has bubbles on the under side next to the hood latch. I thought this was only a problem for the 2K owners. The body shop told me to leave it alone because it'* hard to tell how bad it actually is and that I should wait until it gets worse at that point I should replace the hood.

Is this covered under a 6year 100K warranty? If so, aside from going to the dealer yet is there any way I can find the in service date on my car?

You wont need a new hood It just needs to be stripped down and reprimed with the proper primer and painted
