Default M62 polishing?

Is it possible? Just curious...not even sure what the coating is on it.

the case itself?
I wouldnt, its coated with heat transfer paint, it allows the casting to breath really well...less heat...less KR...less KR..happier butt dyno!

I don't think I'd have the patience to do it anyway. I just like how the M90 is bare metal. I knew whatever was on the M62 had to be there for a reason.

Andrew, that'* exactly what I wish mine looked like! It would go so well with the rest of my engine bay. :(

For a full polish you'll probably need to sand many times, then keep polishing like you would metal, dremel or some air tools may help..
