Yes, I did look, but it'* hard to tell which are the correct wires. Perhaps I'm just not looking right.

These are an excellent wire and under $100.

The red MSD wires are a poor choice for the car. The low resistance causes issues with the ignition control module that create a weaker spark.
That page didn't come up. :?

That is exactly what I run, but I didn't buy from them. I bought the same set from either Jeg'* or Summit.

The regulator controls the power of the factory ignition module in the 3800. The MSD wires have almost no resistance which puts a large demand on the coils to produce a lot of current (Ohm’* Law). Since the ignition control module limits the current to the coils, you end up with a poorly performing system. This is probably why we gained a consistant 4 HP going from MSD to our new wires and why MSDs have performed poorly in our high HP builds. I would recommend OEM replacments over MSDs any time because of how our ignition systems work.

*Edited for wording correction*

I had also planed to change my coil packs as well. Chances are I will change teh coils first, then the wires after that.

Since the coil pack limits the current to the coils,
I'm a little fuzzy on the way you worded that. Others might be also.

4hp variation on a 300+hp motor is pretty much normal variation from run to run. I would assume you did multiple pulls to get that number.

I seriously doubt you could even characterize it on a mostly stock car.

danthurs, are you looking for a tailored set, or a universal that you will trim and crimp?
