Got a ton of sanding done today. Thought it was all ready, but turns out I still need a few small things to deal with.
Did a little work on the bottom, I plan to have most of this covered so I'm not looking for perfection here. This is before sanding.

Got it all hung up and ready for paint.

Got it all sanded, just need to wipe it down good.

Set up a paint booth. Wiped it down and got a nasty buzz. Didn't like that at all.

All ready for prime

Eww, some got on my hand

Measuring out the prime and hardener.

Getting it just right.

Pouring it in the sprayer.

Started spraying. Wow, ahh, where'* my mask?

Better with a mask, but not much.

I need to get a respirator.

Cleaning out the sprayer.

All primed

Now for my problem. Still had a few small areas where the epoxy didn't harden. So I cut that out with a dremal and filled in with spot filler. I'll sand that smooth in the morning along with a few runs I had. I'll pick up another pint of prime and finish it off. Then paint it over the weekend.

After lots of sanding we got it smoothed out.

Final coat of primer

Starting the paint.

Mixing the paint.

Getting underneath.

Starting to get cloudy.

Really started getting thick

All painted

Had to snap a picture of Gilberts car.

Time to put on the clear.

Can't even see.

Look at the cloud rolling out of there.

4 coats of clear, you can hardly see threw the haze.

Could this be the last ever picture of the car with this hood?

Here it is all cleared.

A few bugs got in while painting. So I'll be picking up some 1500 or 2000 sand paper and wet sanding a few problems out. Can't wait to see it on the car.

Finally its all one color... couple runs arent bad for first time painting... good job
