I used a right angle grinder with a sanding disk to remove the paint. Came right off.
I need to order the adhesive, it'* like $40 a tube at Eastwood. I figured I would buy it local, walked in, and there was the very same stuff. At $70 a tube. It might be a few weeks now. Buying it is easy, slipping it past my wife is hard when I have to order it.

My epoxy came yesterday.
So I took the scoop off and wiped everything down good.
Then I applied the epoxy to the hood. I went with the slow setting epoxy, 90-120 set time, instead of teh fast stuff which was only a few mins. Good thing, it took a while to get it all out and spread out.
Then laid the scoops down and lined up the holes.
Got all the screws in place.
And let it set over night
Tomorrow I will use the other tube and fill in around the edges and feather it out best I can. That way I use as little bondo as possible.

Got a bit more done today. Removed all the screws.
Sanded down all the rough areas.
Filled in with more epoxy. Hopping I wont need to do much bondo filling
Filled in the front points so there'* a nice base now. I'm sure I will have to do some fine tuning.
And here she is. Will be all set tomorrow. I should be able to do some sanding then.
Here'* the sander I'm using for this.
I'm hopping I wont have to do much more filling to feather in the seams.

Had some free time today so got more work done.
Sanded down the rough spots, got it feathered in rather good. Used the last of the epoxy to fill in a few low spots. I'll sand that down after it sets. Here'* a few shots.
Then flipped it over to work on the bottom.
Got me some kitty fur (long fiber Bondo)
Packed it in the gap and pushed it down best I could.
Now just need to wait for it to set and then do a bit of sanding.
I'll get a few more pictures, the battery went dead. Man, that kitty fur sets up fast. Don't mix a lot at a time.
