Default Forgotten project STB

I did this 5 months ago at least and haven't installed it yet (which is why it'* on my bed). I was waiting until I replaced the struts. I guess it will be spring before my engine bay is done!

I was thinking of finding a place to chrome it, but I decided to paint it.

You can't get a reflection like that with primer It'* silver. Lighting wasn't the greatest in my room which explains the poor pics. I didn't wet sand it, but it'* so smooth, especially on the brackets, I didn't feel the need to.

A spare is nice to have. I have two for the Zilla. Rotate them a couple times a year. That way I can repaint off the car and take my time.

Just playing Pat

I got this spare from my first JY run with Boosty. It was nice to have a spare for the exact reason you mention Bill. Though I am very excited about installing it, I still want to wait until the struts are done, because whoever replaces them will probably bang up the STB and ruin the paint job.
