Default STB swap

I found a strut bar from a '93 SE and installed it on my '88 LE.
Check it out and let me know what you guys think.(go to my website page 4 in my signature) This is a nice, cheap, performance upgrade for all '87 - '91 Bonnies if anyone else is interested. Cost = $10 for the bar from the junkyard.

Yes it did make a differance, and besides it lo0ks co0l to0. Trust me, for the $10 that I spent, I wish it made that much of a difference in all of the money I spend on the car!!!

Ok, guys. My ADTR intake is red. My plug wires (when they get here) are red. I can order a red powdercoated Alternator from Ty to replace my failing alt, and then maybe paint my STB in ADTR red? Whaddya think? My red calipers came out pretty good, even for green/ghetto.

Looking ahead (when I replaced my plug wires) I had to think long and hard about possible color upgrades. This was before ADTR had the intake and DP had the red alternators. I thought that a nice yellow would be good for my wires--but alas my choices were blue and red. I went with blue :( They look good, but now I am going to be in a bit of a pinch when it comes to colored performance parts. I think for our cars (G/GG) yellow or green is the best choice--but again, there seems to be a shortage of such colors for engine upgrades. Red will look a lot better than the blue I chose, and, since red is available, I think it will look good.

The reason I went with blue is that eventially I will do some major mods to my engine (P/P heads, possible SC/intake upgrade) and when I do, I would like to paint the engine Pontiac Blue (even though it is a Buick derivative). After I received my Taylor wires, I was a bit miffed that they DO come in yellow (and green), they just weren't offered by the GPStore. (Again, this was before ADTR). Next time I'll check with Hector or Ty.

In short, RED WOULD LOOK GREAT (but then you will give the RED B'* another excuse when you beat them!)

The after pic looks great-but what about the before? And the procedure to make them look like yours!
