Not to be a *****, but can someone add the missing letter in the title?
Why can't you just put it in the center console? I've alway liked the center console gauge look, particularly like Big Bad (Gonneville'* ride)

the center consoles are totally different and the Gagues are out of sight when driving....
ahhh your right Bill he needs the Glass to build up.....then make it smooth....
Paul, get out there with a paper template of the HUD and the dash contour....then after that you can lay the template against the gague pod, and add material where needed

I'm a symmetrical freak. Having that pod on the left makes the left side seem so cluttered, what about having it in the middle, maybe above the radio centerstack? Or no?
But I still like your idea.
Sorry for getting off topic with the Pod......sort of just morphed there, just like the title change.
I have already trimmed it so the back fits close and I am planning to add cardboard to make up the large gap on the side.....where I will relocate the injection switch and LED'*.
Then I plan to cover the cardboard with a coat of fibreglass for strength and then use bondo over that to enable a smooth sanded finish.
I hate body work or artsy crafting......just not very patient
......as witnessed by my current switch pod. Functional and works.
I will post progress pics when I take them.
