Default Chromed 00 exhaust tips?

Was wondering if anyone has chromed the exhaust tips off a 00+ bonne?
I want new chrome tips, but the hubby thinks i should send the original tips out to be chromed if they can be chromed. Any pics would be greatly appreciated of all tips (exhaust tips you pervs.... )

Nothing wrong with the original aluminum tips. They are easy to clean up and keep clean.
Chrome looks good but you can't clean them up if they get scratched.

I have always kept them clean using an aluminum polish and laquer thinner.
For really tough stains a fine sandpaper works on that shiney front face.

Deb:
I used a buffing wheel and buffing compound on mine and the difference was amazing.
