one idea would be to try to do rear heat/ac vents like the cars with bucket seats have. i would also keep storage in mind too. maybe just something simple like a factory console with the shifter section chopped off. you could incorperate a screen or something in the area under the ash tray. just shooting a few idears for you.

My 97 SE is a column-shifter. I read that you replaced your stock seats with the leather bucket seats. If it were me, I'd go another route completely, presuming you still have your factory cloth seats: Your factory captain'* seat should be the big powered fatty one with the fold-up center armrest that becomes the center seat. Your factory passenger seat should be a slightly smaller seat. -Just have an upholstery shop leather them for you. A friend of mine did that with his SUV, and you'd never know they weren't factory leather to begin with. Because with the column shifter, your car just looks funny with the buckets in it.

I have a 92 se with a column shifter and the bench seats in the front. I am really interested in building a carputer but i have no where to put the screen. Does anyone know of any center console that will fit the bonne? Are there any bonne'* that already have center consoles?

...and the extra room from not having a shifter on the floor would afford tonnes of room to do a car-puter.

I think it'* time for a carputer....

throw out the radio, put a lcd in there, and in the console part, house your motherboard/cpu/powersupply/harddrives, and then have all of your mp3s on there, purchase a fm tuner pci card, and also have gps on the lcd screen

then ur set
