Default Center Counsole Ideas

As some of you may know, I have this huge gap in the middle of my car, like a buck tooth....

I want a center counsole sometime, but unsure on how to go about it. I suppose I could always just get a counsole from another Bonne and modify it to my liking.....But im looking at doing something unique with it. I would love to have a GPS unit stashed somewhere around it, with maybe a few other toys all at the tips of my fingers. I almost could use something like what squad cars have with the center counsole (Impalas, Crown Vics) but no one makes anything similiar for a Bonne. Is there a place on the net that makes custom center counsoles? That would be something I would really look at. Let me hear some suggestions so I may take it in over the winter and start pricing and researching...

If you were gonna go with GPS....Get the OEM console from another bonne, then fab in the GPS unit....Hardwired and all. If you're good with that kinda stuff. Could prooly put most of it where the floor shifter is supposed to go.

You could mount a cd changer in there, or one of those MP3 keg things, a bazooka tube, NOS bottle, .....

All good ideas, and all I want to incorporate into it. Even the cupholders,,,,just not 12 of them. I suck at figerglass work, but if you have something in mind let me know I can prolly get someone else to help me out. The center counsole from another bonne is a good idea, since I know it will fit and a screen (maybe even carputer) would be nice, then have a music keg or something similiar stashed next to or in front of the screen. hmmmm...

Having just pulled my console out etc. There is a ton of room in there w/o shifter etc. You could have tons of fun. Ask Randy what texture and paint he used on mine.. it matches up to the factory dash trim.
