You could vacuum it...

You could really use something there to eat up the space. Make sure you can rest your arm on it though for those long road trips.

Merlin..it'* one of those (Whispers) "column shifter cars"
I only thought the base models from 87-91 had column shifters. 92+ I thought were all floors. Without the front bench seat, it just looks VERY odd.

I've built a full custom fiberglass center console for a Dodge Neon before. It connected to the dash, came all the way back into the rear. The entire rear seat and back deck were incorporated. It was sweet, had a six disc changer, 7 inch screen, e-brake and shifter. Made it out of foam, then glassed it and had it painted. I charged him $1500, materials included that was also the back deck and sub box.

I was going to just use the factory console and fab my own "Stuff" into where the shifter is SUPPOSED to be if I could find some leather buckets..

man thats wierd how it has a gap in the middle of the front seats! usually for column shifters they have the 3rd person seat with an armrest, like in the lumie. I never seen one with a gap like that hehe

Let'* bring this back on topic please. The idea is to get ideas for how to and what to put into a console.
