you can find the fuse for the ecm or fuel pump, or mark your spark plug wires and take them off the coil terminals, or disconnect the big long plug from the ICM/coil module. last one is likely the easiest to put back together

Easier way. Hold the accelerator all the way down to the floor while cranking. This is called "clear flood mode".

My ICM is one big plug, but the power and ground is on the left, not sure how the plug on the 3.4 is, I'd just loosen the bolt to the ICM wiring connector, and remove the plug from the ICM.
What are you trying to do, a compression test?

William, there are three plug/harnesses on a 3.4 ICM....two on the driver'* side.....one on the passenger side(power and ground harness)....just pull that one off......just a click retainer.....

Just mainly trying to figure out what his reason for wanting to crank it over without it starting is, if it is to do a compression test, I don't think he'* going to be trying to enter clear flood mode while testing each cylinder.

I was curious why as well? Unplugging the icm is a one way, but would be a risk of flooding the engine with raw fuel.
