Tire size

Will it be okay to replace my 2004 Chevy Venture tires with 215/70-15 tires instead of the stock 215/75-15 tires? Thanks

According to tirerack.com, 215/70-15 is the OEM tire size for your vehicle, unless your owners manual says something different, all should be good with that size.

Door sticker on mine says 215/70R15.

as long as they are all the same size it doesnt make much difference

There will be a slight difference in circumference of the tire which will have a slight effect on the speedometer reading....the larger tire will create a slightly slower speedometer reading....so whenever you do the speed limit, it will actually be higher than you are actually going.......but the difference will not be that much at all....
