is the ignition control module incorporated into the coil pack as one unit

How many miles per gallon should my engine get?

2005 Equinox with a 3.4 engine, cranks but will not start, have been told that the 2005 Equinox does not have a ignition control module, but it does have a engine control module that sits on top of the plastic battery case, i tested for spark at the plug wire and there is no spark, have been told that it could be the crank position sensor, also the ECM had bad computer chips in them for that particular year which would cause no spark after several years of operation, i also found some info on the coil pack that the ICM is incorporated into the coil pack and sealed as a unit
