Please search on waste spark system. There have been many posts and I will attempt to help you find the info....but the search feature is your friend in many cases.

Searched on "waste+spark" and found the following thread where it is mentioned and many links to Bosch about the reason. Great info in this one.. there'* a little banter in the beginning of the thread, get past that to the quoted information and links.

Trust me. Get the Bosch out of there. They'll fail very early. If you want a lecture on spark plugs, you know where to go.

(If I'd known you had the Bosch in there when I saw you drive by on 9th street today, I would have chased you down and removed them myself, hot manifolds or not).
