OBD TEST problem

Default OBD TEST problem

I have a 2010 Impala with a 3.9 L I'am unable to E check do to the vehicle'* onboard diagnostic system was not ready for emissions test no information ,I bought this car at a state auction sat for many months with a dead battery .After I put a battery in drove the car over 300 miles and still no information for the E check .So i checked all the fuses and checked to see if there was power to the test plug and the pins in the plug were not bent ,dont know were to go from here any suggestions .

Are you trying to say that the vehicle will not communicate with a scan tool?

Can you use the scan tool on another car?

In addition to what Mike asked,

have you checked both grounds and power at the ALDL connector.....also varying voltage at term 2 with a voltmeter?

scan tool works on other cars ,i have not checked the ground just for power ,going to check the ground at the pin today thanks for the diagram .

Check the display fuse in your under hood fuse block
