After 11 yrs these springs could be slacking.. I had the ssei bonne.. Might be a diff.. My trans am rode better and it it was a 98..hope i can get it a bit better

you might try getting Monroe struts and springs, i have heard and read that they lean toward the softer side if thats what you like

Dont get me wrong i love taking corners fast but this car seems like they lowered it like a rice rocket...

normally i would recommend against those quick struts but maybe if you get the ones for a base model, monroe is kinda softer, if kyb has one it was about the same as the stock gm fe2 ls was new. the kyb and monroe last alot longer than gm ones though

I put those quick struts on my 03 bonneville after i snapped a orig spring.. They worked fine.. Have not seen kyb ones.. Monroe 60 bucks

they call them "strut plus" they make it for alot of vehicles but not all. i dont like them because all the companies, even kyb will have one part number for all the trims, like the floaty fe1 monte/impala will be the same as the tight sport fe2 and fe3 ones. you basically have to guess what kind of ride you like and if it will be good for you. you could just get the whole assembly from the junk yard then change the struts if its not to expensive to be worth it. kyb struts are pretty cheap on amazon
