Default Lower control arms left and right

I have a 2003 Chevy Blazer and I replaced the shocks upper and lower control arms. The upper control arms went smooth with no problems so did the right lower control arm but when I got to the left lower control arm the torsion bar would not move. I took the screw holder that holds the key in place so I could have a little moving room with the torsion bar but when I put the control arm on and tightened all the bolts I would go to the key and it would b pointed straight down. I would then take the contnrol arm back off move the torsion bar around so the key would b upwards and then put the control arm on and tighten the bolts. When I hooked everything back up on the control arms and put the tires back on the left side was significantly higher then the right side. When I put the lower control arm on it had no wiggle room I couldn’t move it around at all it was tight as hell but I thought it would just loosen up when I lower the truck down but it didn’t. I just need to know if I did anything wrong and what I could do to the torsion bar because that’* what I think is wrong with it but I don’t know what to do and I can’t find any videos about it.
