Default Lower control arms changed.

Took about an hour, swapped out both lower control arms due to bad bushings on the ssei. Right front was real bad. I can almost push the white center section of the bushing out of the old arm. I was really suprised that after 160,000 miles that both ball joints were just as tight as the new replacements. Rock Auto had the arms for $75ish each for Dormans. Much cheaper than what GM parts direct wanted or even Napa. Didn't have time to road test as I finished up around 8:30 this evening as I have a 400ish mile round trip tomorrow. Felt tighter just backing out of the garage.

Hows it feel? Oh my.... Much different, in a good way. Amazing. Steering, handling and the light noise I could here in the front end after coming to a complete stop, than starting off. Is gone. Front end feels very tight now. Put over 400 miles and 8 hours on her yesterday.

Did you have any vibration from the front end at highway speeds? Did they go away after you changed the control arms?

The car has had the 68/70ish mph vibe since day one. And it'* still there. Although reduced one again, as it was getting bad.
