the drivers side tire rubs on the body when turned all the way to the left. does the car have stops? and where are the located? car has 55k on it now, has the oem tires still on it.

Has the inner fenderwell come loose and is hitting the tire on turns?

the tire is rubbing on the frame of the car

the tire rubs on the sheet metal part of the sub frame. a dealer suggested to get a piece of wood and a hammer and hit it at the rub spot enough to make room for the tire. they could not tell me why it was rubbing.

I would do as they suggested and then have the front end checked, along with an alignment......

Is it possible that you or someone else hit something in the road that caused the sheet metal to distort?
