Default Impala Ls 2000 Air Intake Hose Broken

Hi, i was checking an irregular idling on my impala ls 2000 and i noticed the air intake hose have a crack near the part where it connects with the acceleration body.

is there a way to find a replacement? what are the solutions. thanks.

probably i was thinking the same.

cant that hose and system be replaced by one of those KN conic systems?

Take a picture of it. If its the right kind of hose I'm thinking of, black RTV at Autozone will work fine.

cant take one right now, but is the regular black one that comes stock in the impala ls 2000.

the only special thing is the plug where you conect the sensor thats wired to the maf.

im thinking about spending the money "but not now" in one of these:

57-3045 - K&N 57 Series FIPK, Performance Intake Kit

should i?.

i noticed the crack since the car rpm where bad, i thought the IAC was bad, but there was a whistle sound near the acceleration body, and it was the hose that had a crack, i have no idea how that happened.

those things do absolutely nothing for the rpm range a normal driver sees, go to the junk yard

I agree. Unless your planning on spending tons of more money on performance enhancements, this $280 filter will do no good. Go find a junkyard, you can get one for about $10.
