Chevy 3.4L Overheats
Hello! I spread the engine. The culprit overheating is the gasket :/. But i noticed when that unscrewing rocker rams, on thread are fillings (On each bolt). And inside head, in bolt holes is destroyed thread. Can you help me? What should I do?
I see this happen, when someone uses a power tool to remove the bolt........what you have to do is break the bolt free first, and then use your power tool, like an air ratchet to remove....
If the threads in the holes are bad, then you will have to make repairs with a Heli Coil kit....there are plenty of videos on YouTube....remember, cleanliness is next to godliness....when you drill out the old thread, you must drill straight....and you must catch/remove the filings from drilling.....
