Default Can't remove throttle body

Hello everyone,
I'm working on the 2001 Maliboo-boo again and i am trying to remove throttle body. I have disconnected both water hoses(one of which I,m sure will never go back on), removed all screws and nuts, removed throttle cable bracket and dis-connected all electrical connectors, but I still can,t get it off. I can rotate it 15 or 20 degrees but that'* all. I have not dis-connected throttle cable because I can,t see a need to. All I want to do is get it out of the way so I can get to thermostat. What am I missing?

Thanks for any help.

Whoops, I just noticed that there is a stud behind the bracket on the lower right side of the throttle body that needs to be removed. I can move the bracket around some but not enough to clear the stud so I can get a socket on it.

I guess I can get to it with a open end wrench but all the vidios I've seen shows the bracket as being out of the way. I don't seem to have enough flexibility to do that on this one.

Another update. Throttle body is off and I'm now down to thermostat. I have removed upper bolt with no problem. As some may know, on this model there is a manifold crossover directly over thermostat housing.( Brilliant design ) I have loosened lower bolt about as far as I can. This side is slotted. I assume this is so housing will slide off when that bolt is loosened. It ain't happening and I can't see how it ever will. If anyone has any insight with this ,I would love to hear it.

Thanks

If the crossover is not hot, you should be able to easily rotate the bolt out of the housing with your fingers....
