Default 95 cavalier Not Charging

Hi my brother was planning on loaning me his 95 cavalier
only problem is that it wont stay running. Thinking its somewhere in the charging system
he got it a new alternator.
any ideas?
im gonna be trying a continuity test in the morning to see if the fusible link is good.

Are there any lights on? Usually if the alternator quit, it turns the battery light on.

The battery light comes on and stays on then while driving goes out and comes back on.

Seems the low idle isn't spinning the alternator fast enough to charge the battery. Typically the alternator is failing. I would definitely change the alternator then.
