Default 2014 Chevy Express 3500 trailer wiring.

I'm trying to get my van ready to pull a travel trailer and the only wiring harness i can find at the back of my van is this:





can anyone tell me what this is?

Do the tail lights work with the plug disconnected?

If yes, look elsewhere. If no then you probably found the correct wires.

Does that connector have wiring on both sides? If not it may be the factory hookup for trailer lighting.
