2010 HHR Emissions and Drive Cycle Help Needed
I recently purchased an HHR. All of the drive cycles are complete except EVAP and O2. On a video I watched about completing drive cycles (on YouTube), it said to start the car from overnight sitting cold, turn the AC on high and the rear window defroster on, then idle for 3 minutes. When I started the car to do this, all of the dash lights started blinking, including the odometer. Seatbelt, air bag, traction, oil, etc. All of them. Is that normal? Does that mean it'* starting the evap cycle? Thanks.
No, that'* not normal.
All of the drive-cycle monitors happen completely in the background. You'll never know unless you look, or if one of them fails badly enough.
Sorry to be a pessimist here, but I'm guessing you found the reason why the previous owner got rid of it.
