Default Evap Issues

Hello

Tried refueling 2001 lesbare 3800 the other day. Gas pump kept shutting off. Tried turning the nozzle every direction. Still shut off.

I have since removed the vent solenoid off of the evap canister. I can blow air thru that freely.

I removed the evap canister. I can blow air freely thru it. (I did notice liquid gas came out of the tank line when i removed it)

I blew air thru the purge line, and it is free. Cannot blow air thru the purge valve itself, so it is closed as it should be.

I do not know what to do next. Any suggestions??

Any help greatly appreciated

also, i removed the hose labeled TANK on the evap canister. liquid gas came out of that hose.

i am able to blow air thru that hose and can hear the tank "bubbling"

any ideas how to check if it could be the check valve in the filler tube? i dont want to drop the tank if i dont have too

Had you hit any big bumps or had some kind of extreme braking?

thanks i will remove that. do i just try to blow air in/out of the filler hose? is the check valve located there?

I am stumped as to why liquid gas comes out the hose from tank to evap can.

Yeah, it should not be liquid at the cannister.

Before this problem cropped up, did you fill your tank to first click or try to get a little more and a little more and a little more and a little more by clicking it over and over? . . . or somewhere in between?
