I have a 2012 Equinox that has recently been misfiring and stalling (very frequently). My mechanic has run his scanner on it and got the following codes (see attached). We’ve replaced the O2 sensors, MAF, MAP and VVT solenoids and it hasn’t improved anything at all. We’re both frustrated. He thinks it’* an electrical issue, but we can’t determine where.
P0011 - Intake cam over-advanced
P0030 - Upstream oxygen sensor heater control circuit fault
P0036 - Downstream oxygen sensor heater control circuit fault
P0097 - Intake air temperature sensor 2 circuit low
P0102 - Mass air flow circuit low
P0113 - Intake air temperature sensor voltage high
P0443 - Evaporative emission system purge valve malfunction
P11C2 - Intake air humidity sensor 1/2 correlation fault
P2199 - Intake air temperature sensor 1/2 correlation fault
P2228 - Barometric pressure sensor circuit A low
How many miles on it?
How many miles have you owned it?
What engine does it have?
Has it had any recent work prior to this issue, even an oil change?
I don't see any true diagnosis going on here so far, only parts swaps that chase the codes. Maybe I've missed something? I agree, this is an electrical issue. The odds are extremely slim that both oxygen sensors and the MAF and the MAP and both VVT solenoids went bad at once. Swapping parts like this makes diagnosis more difficult.
Sounds like you need a technician instead of a parts slinger.
Replace any thing he put in it that is not OEM.
Look up the power and ground charts and see what is common.
