Default 2008 silverado p0442 code

I have a 2008 silverado 5.3L v8 2wd truck and am having issues with a p0442 small emissions leak. I have replaced purge valve, vent selinoid, gas cap, and fuel pump. I have also done a visual inspection on the hoses with nothing visible and have also had a smoke test performed with nothing found and the code keeps coming back. Has anyone else have had this issue? or give ideas in what direction to go

Was this a GM shop that performed the smoke test?

Usually, a smoke test will detect the leak.....

Another test that a GM shop can do is a vac test, to check vac decay over a period of time while the system is sealed........

You have already replaced the components that usually leak.....were all new?

no it wasn't a gm shop. They advised that the test was performed for over an hour and that they pull the purge valve and gas cap to check for smoke and everything was pressureized. All parts replaced were new. Was going to take to a dealer next but wanted to try to narrow down cause so I don't start spending more money on backtracking on a unknown issue. I will also add that the truck has been wrecked and the left side of the bed was torn up and had to be rebuilt twice and asked the mechanic to check the fill neck and they advised they did
