Sometimes a purge valve is mounted on the back side of the engine, but that'* different across all the platforms. Mine is on the front of the engine, and on a 96 PA Ultra, its mounted on the back side.

Unless its a universal harness, but even then I don't see having connector come out right there would do anything even on a L67. I'll have to go open my hood and do some research.

after looking for about 15 minutes, i could not find any 2 pin plug with 2 pink wires. all i found was a birds nest with eggs in it under my engine cover. i have a feeling those eggs got a bit too toasty.

its coming out of the exact same loom that goes directly to the injectors. my car even seemed to have a different wire loom.

oh, also... there still is no check engine light. im running the thing with no mass air sensor and i had unplugged the tps and iac with the car running.

i know the thing isnt burned out. maybe the car is just reallly forgiving. lol

Why did you unplug the TPS and IAC? TPS tells the PCM what position the butterfly plate is at and the IAC is controlled by the PCM to tell the engine what to idle at. You can use your Torque app to verify the TPS works properly by using the TPS sensor PID.

Your MAF sensor isn't broken like the one in the left of this picture???

nope, not broken. and i had em unplugged just to check to make sure they werent causing the car to die. hers is actually much longer like the one in my car. id say atleast 2 inches long. and there also arent any pending codes. i checked with my professional scan tool that also reads body/abs codes and my elm27/torque app.

i think its got to be the maf. literally if i plug it in with the car running, itll either die instantly, or the first time i rev it. after that, it will only start with help from the throttle and then proceed to idle very erratically. friday when im off i plan to go pick up a maf from the j/y, preferably without wires that are white and look like little marshmallows.

Those 2 little marshmallows are suppose to be on the MAF sensor.
