1986 Chevrolet scotsdale C-10 pickup. I am installing a new compressor and I am trying to find out if I can flush out the pancake type freon filter once I have it removed from the compressor line. I was thinking I could use the cleaner to soak the filter in then blow it out backwards. Will this work or damage my filter? Thanks,BIG NICK

Just buy a new filter. It'* not worth trying to clean the old one. New compressor probably has no warranty if you can't show that you bought a new filter for it at the same time.
