I haven't used that style of compression fitting on fuel lines but I have used them many times on nylon air lines on our big rig air lines at work and they work very well.

i got it done yesterday, was able to get a brake line tube holder on the line from the tank to hold the original tube while i soaked it hot water then dipped the fitting in oil and jammed it in, so that saved me a few hours of cussing for sure. took a few pics, going to ask mike if he wants a tech write up on it.
If it was just a pinhole leak you may have been able to seal it with some rescue tape, that stuff is amazing!
Of course with fuel leaks it is bet to fix them the right way to be safe, if it were an emergency and you were out driving, then discovered a little leak, this tape would work well till you could get home, or to a shop.

Wow Justin that fuel line job musta been a real PITA especially in winter.
Glad u got the leak fixed! I hope I never have this problem with the PA.
