Default '00 Impala LS Intermitant no start

My daughter has an '00 LS..... occasionally it does not want to start... to me it acts as if the fuel pump has gone bad....but then it starts....and there is no problem for a couple weeks, then all of a sudden it does it again..............??

So you mean it cranks over, but doesn't fire? Or it doesn't crank? Or it cranks, fires, then dies a couple seconds later?

Listen for the pump with KOEO. Should run for 2 seconds. If the pump is working I would be looking at the CKS or ICM.
