So if this thread isn't confusing enough, I might as well add to it. If there is an audible click heard in the trunk when the interior trunk release button is hit, I would suggest that the problem doesn't reside with the interior trunk release switch, but with the release actuator in the trunk itself, perhaps it'* only out of adjustment, but more than likely it'* a solenoid that has lived out its useful life.

That having been said, I'm not sure what the "dash" refers to here as I would assume the button being referenced is the "dash" button.

What you? Well, what I'm talking about is the amount of confusing information you have posted regarding the supposed problem with your trunk release. If you could post PRECISE information relating to your problem, perhaps someone here can be a benefit to you.

The best I can tell, we are all here to diagnose a malfunctioning on/off button, but we're at post number 19 and counting to do this.

It’* simple — the trunk button doesn’t respond and not does it on the remote. It is not the valet button and gas lid works fine. The trunk motor also works fine.
