Yes, valet is off and yes all fuses is good. The trunk lid works just fine dash and remote. However the trunk button does not work. It began intermittent and now does not work at all. Any ideas because I’m sure the Cadillac dealership will charge me the price I paid for this car for a operational button?

What button? Everything works except the trunk button and valet button works too.

Yea no response from trunk button. Only a click you hear in the trunk — the same you hear when you hit any other button.

Okay, so (1) are you looking to diagnose the problem, or (2) are you already certain that the trunk button is bad and looking for an alternative to the dealer-priced replacement button?

It would just be nice if the actual button worked.

I'm confused, we have determined the trunk button is faulty, so next course of action is to replace it? Or am I missing something?
