Please help, my caddy is making a noise. MechaNIC LOOKED AT IT AND SAID THE ROTOR HOLES WERE WALLOWED OUT AND THE FRONT DRIVE AXLE WAS SLINGING GREASE. what does this mean and what causes this and how to I get it fixed? Is this something that needs a professional or can my dad a shade tree mechanic do it? Thanks for anhy help

From what I see here, you need a new axle.

MG92BONNIE and i changed out my CV Shaft. The worse part is getting the old CV shaft to let go of the hub and breaking loose the ball joint. But might not be so bad on a 1999. Mine was a 1992 so everything was pretty bonded together.
