Default To grease or not to grease.

So I pop the bucks for a new ICM as part of my "complete" underhood refurbish project. Past experience with control modules would dictate mounting the new ICM with the usual layer of die-electric grease. On the few DIS cars I have owned or worked on, the new ICM would either instruct you to use the grease and/or even supply some. No such information with my new Borg-Warner part and I get conflicting information from those that "know" in my small circle of fellow bench racers.

I always grease. All metals oxidize at some rate, and two different metals create an effect called galvanic corrosion, particularly when one of the metals is aluminum. it also helps transfer the heat from the ICM .

I put it at how I feel that day. I've done both and found no difference either way.
